ARTICLE - The Journey to a Happy YOU

One thing is for certain. When we feel a deep inner happiness, there is a glow we vibrate out into the world.   What creates that glow is unique to each individual.  What makes you happy may not make me happy.

Happiness is an inside job all the way! Have you ever found yourself in a situation in your life where your outer world looked happy, but your inner world was not happy at all. It's a cover up for our vulnerabilities.

Why is it so hard to live an authentic life? Answer: Pressure, pressure, pressure from the outside world. The systems that surround us do not want individuals exerting their uniqueness and forging their own path.  The fear is, that it would be hard to control.

How can we wake up, rise up, and take charge of our own happiness without having to overthrow the government?  My vision is to create a path of pleasure medicine and explore the non-violent way of inner beauty and sexuality. Men and women alike, are powerful beings when we experience the juicy place of the feminine within.

Ponder this…

What takes your breath away?

What three words describe the feeling of beauty?

Where does pleasure live in your body?

If even for the few short moments you read this article, you are accessing your happy place which is directly connected to the inner beauty and sexuality place which leads to an authentic glow place that vibrates out into the world.

CBL# 151 - The Essence of the Inner Beauty and Sexuality Message

Coach Betty Louise takes a reflective look back at some of the gems from her amazing guests in 2011. Her assessment results in a prescriptive pathway to living an organic and orgasmic life through the place of inner beauty and sexuality.

Highlights:

Beauty is an inside job, as Cynthia Desoto, author and beauty research, explained from her book "Changing the Way the World Thinks About Beauty." She shared that when directly asked what attributes make a person beautiful, only 15% of the answers were about physical appearance. What about the other 85%?

Karen Carlson, Nurse Practitioner from the University of Washington's Women's Health Clinic, said that regular sex is as important to overall health as eating and sleeping. Imagine giving sex the same attention?

Nicole Daedone, author of "Slow Sex: the Art and Craft of the Female Orgasm," believes that women are hungering for orgasms, just not what is on the menu. Her Foundation, One Taste, teaches a practice of orgasmic meditation to both men and women.

When we discover this place of inner beauty and sexuality, then we can bring that juicy energy to all of our relationships. It allows us to be receptive to the beautiful people we have in our lives. Alison Armstrong, designer of the course "Celebrating Men, Satisfying Women," says we must honor ourselves to learn receptivity.

ARTICLE - Ten Simple Ways to BE in Your Beautiful Body

During this busy time of year, it is so easy to become ungrounded and lose your center. When this happens, you give up your energy and can easily become exhausted and triggered by family or friends if things don’t go as planned.  And think about it…when do things go according to plan?

Life happens when you are busy making plans!

To be able to flow with joy and fun when life happens, here are some simple ways to be aware of the signals that your body is giving you, and take responsibility for your own experiences.

1. Breathe deeply…make a commitment to breathe for 30 seconds down deep into your belly when you arise every morning from now until the end of the year.

2. Jokes…find your funny this season. Have a few jokes handy to create some healthy and healing laughter. Laugh at yourself often.

3. Smile…at anyone and everyone including yourself in the mirror.

4. Sleep…write down how many hours of sleep you have on your calendar in the morning…each week note your average…go for an average of 8 hours a night.

5. Eat something healthy that you enjoy everyday…maybe just a banana in the morning. Note how good it feels to eat it.

6. Drink at least 1 liter of hot water everyday. More is always better…not boiling but as hot as you can drink it. Add lemon for some added flavor and health benefits.

7. Meditate every morning for at least 5 minutes…basically sit quietly with yourself…nothing fancy needed.

8. Dance to your favorite music for 5 minutes a day…a song that makes you let loose a little.

9. Take at least 10 deep breaths out in the fresh air…could be on the way to the car or on the way into the shopping center. Just notice the air.

10. Look at your body in the mirror every day after you shower/bathe…let it know that you are paying attention.

Live, Love, Laugh………….

CBL#144 - A Male Perspective on Inner Beauty with Fredrik Ejemo

My passionate special guest, Fredrik Ejemo, shares his intimate story discovering the divine feminine from a woman in the marketplace in india. He sees that when women are connected to inner beauty and sexuality, they can breathe with the earth. My former guest, John Gray who has coached thousands of men and women, said the exact same thing. You've got to hear Fredrik's description of what it feels like to be a man in the presence of a woman who loves herself. For the whole interview, click the listen button below.

Fredrik Ejemo, actor, musician, and writer was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden.  At age 17, Fredrik was discovered by a casting director and soon began a career in the performing arts. He starred in the television show ‘Three Crowns’, the #1 TV series in the country and then went on to star in ‘Friends and Enemies’, another  successful television series. Later he joined the prestigious Royal Dramatic Theater in Sweden and acted in several national theater productions.

When he was 21 years old, Fredrik traveled to Thailand and had a spiritual awakening that deeply affected the course of his life. He dove into metaphysical studies, exploring ancient wisdom and mysticism in order to understand this new level of conscious awareness. Driven by a longing desire to heal his own dysfunctional family patterns, an absent father and wounded mother, led Fredrik on a quest to find the sacred feminine to restore divine union within himself. This resulted in a 3 year sabbatical which took him on a journey throughout India, Southeast Asia, and the United States.

He crossed path with many spiritual teachers from different traditions. Shri Shri Ravi Shankar, Byron Katie, Joan Halifax, Bernie Prior, and Brad Blanton, to name a few. He explored shamanism, yoga, martial arts, meditation, and many new healing modalities. Fredrik’s writings have been published in the Swedish book, 15 Gånger Asien (15 Stories from Asia).

Currently Fredrik is working in the field of naturopathic medicine and studying energy medicine in Laguna Beach, California. He spends his spare time working on his new music album.

A Womens Grace

Womens Radiance A womens true power is found in her radiant openness. As she allows herself to be the gateway of the essence within her. As she refuses to hold anything back from the ocean that lives within her. The rivers and the waterfalls of her being…

When a man can drink from her eternal ever-changing waters moment to moment, she will cleanse his soul, purify his being and awaken his heart to the art of love.

ARTICLE - Notes, Quotes and Suggestions from 22 Inner Beauty Interviews

Below are some interesting results from the recent inner beauty collaborative. There were 22 leading experts on beauty from various walks of life and perspectives who shared their unique approaches to rediscovering the powerful feminine place of inner beauty.

The 22 perspectives came from 16 distinct fields: magazine editor, authors/bloggers, lifestyle/health coaches, skin care specialists, image consulting, clinical psychology and psychiatry, former international runway model, spiritual attorney working with incarcerated women, researcher, holistic yoga teacher, sensuality/sexuality coach, sex/relationship counselor, artist, and actress/entertainer.  These self-identified Inner Beauty experts each had a specific suggestion and path for feeling the kind of beauty that is sustained throughout your life.

Some bits of wisdom from the interviews:

“If you don’t believe you are beautiful, then it’s not worth anything.” Stephanie Mansour, of StepItUpWithSteph

“Self-confidence is the greatest aphrodisiac…when a woman is comfortable in her own skin.” Donna Henes, author of “The Queen of Myself”

“Stop listening to external sources of beauty.” Courtenay Hall, editor of BELLA magazine

“Woman are the beginning and the end of everything. You’ve got the power. Use it wisely.” Magatte Wade, organic skin care specialist

The need to continue to collaborate and encourage inner beauty in our world is growing. Women are hungering to find their way back to inner peace and happiness. This is the path that will bring more health, wealth and happiness (not to mention good sex) onto the entire planet.

Consider writing these bits of wisdom that resonate with you down on sticky notes and post them up all over your house, car, purse, and world.

Amanda Elo'esh Johnsen, M.A. holds a degree in counseling psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies. She has been developing her current alternative healing arts practice since the age of eleven when she took part in a program for gifted children. Amanda has been refining her work ever since. Her primary tool is guided imagery.

Her initiations into the Divine Feminine Mysteries, Mayan Shamanism, the Buddha Dakini Path and Indigenous Medicine Ways also strongly influence her work, and she believes that each person has their own unique pathway to Source.

Amanda helps people to gently, quickly and easily recognize and heal old wounding and shadow and helps each of her clients to tap into their own higher wisdom and authentic Self. "My clients leave amazed at the new confidence and joy they have access to that seemed impossible just moments before."
