CBL-#104-Living Simply and Deeply with Cecile Andrews and Betsy Otter Thompson

These two fabulous women will be talking about what we can create in the world together. Cecile Andrews latest book , Less is More, reinforces her philosophy from her first book, Circle of Simplicity. The second half of Coach Betty LIVE will highlight Betsy Otter Thompson and her new book, Walking Through Illusion. I know that transformation happens when we are able to eliminate illusions and get back to basics.

A former community college administrator, Cecile Andrews is a community educator and a founder of Sustainable Greenwood Phinney. She is the author of three books: Less is More, Slow is Beautiful, and Circle of Simplicity. She has her doctorate in education from Stanford. She teaches workshops for the Phinney Neighborhood Association, writes a monthly column for the North Seattle Herald Tribune on Voluntary Simplicity, and is on the board of the Seattle Gross National Happiness Initiative. Betsy’s work has always gravitated toward the media. A Philadelphia native with a B.F.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, Betsy worked as an account executive for WFIL radio in Philadelphia, and from there went to radio stations WPEN and WFLN. After that, she became a commercial print model and acted in television commercials in Philadelphia and New York. From 1987 to 1999, she worked in Los Angeles at the motion picture and television company Castle Rock Entertainment. She is now a full time author.
