Why de-clutter you ask? De-cluttering your mind of non-stop thinking allows you to check in with what is going on right beneath the surface in your life. You become aware of feelings, sensations, emotions, energy, etc. When you become more aware of what is happening on the inside, then you are able to make choices from your inner guides rather than the forces on the outside.
If you have been exploring the inside tip from last week by taking 30 seconds of silence at least 5 times a day, you will have begun to experience the de-cluttering process of the mind. If your mind has been unable to stop during those 30 seconds…it is similar to having so much stuff piled up in a room in your house, you do not know where to begin to clean. And just as you start from the beginning with the clearing out of a room, you start from the beginning on the inside too…this week, during your 30 seconds…focus on your breathing…inhale…exhale…inhale….exhale…that is all…let’s start from the beginning.
Happy Spring Cleaning of the mind!
